Activities [Pictures] The swimming pool and the challenging ropes course highlight the activities at camp. In addition we offer horseback riding, Archery, arts and crafts, pottery, canoeing, and drama. Campers learn teamwork through friendly competition in basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, and other games. Special interest activities such as art and interpretive dance are offered. Campers attending the high school camp will have the opportunity to choose a major area of “missions and ministries” which will take place off the campground (download application for details). Bible Teaching and Praise and Worship The times of Bible teaching and Praise and Worship are the central part of the King's Camp experience. Outstanding Bible teachers lead the times of study during each week of camp, and through praise and worship campers learn that the Lord inhabits the praises of his people! Counseling Staff Competent and dynamic Christian young men and women from college campuses across the nation mentor and supervise campers. These counselors have a desire to minister and a heart for children. (318) 647-5362 Email: kingscamp@clfcamp.com |
